With the launch of NICA’s new Trailhead site, we are SO stoked to share more stories, best practices, pro-tips, and proud moments from our NICA coach community.
Why The Trailhead? It’s a gathering place – a spot to pause and reflect, to get stoked, to connect with others. And it’s a place to get ideas and set the course to GO BIG!
Here’s what to expect when you visit The Trailhead:
- NICA Coaches News Content: Updates on coach education logistics, online leaders summit announcements, blog posts and articles from our NICA coach education team and guest contributors
- Program updates: Timely news about GRiT, Adventure, Teen Trail Corps, and more. Plus, resources, templates, and best-practices so you can implement NICA programs and initiatives within your teams.
- Shared stoke: As we build out this space, we’ll be including more and more coach-submitted stories, resources, and ideas. We’ll also share some fun, coach-specific news from our sponsors and partners.
- And…? The Trailhead was born out of feedback from our coach community. Keep giving us ideas, and we’ll keep the good content coming.
A few things you WON’T find at The Trailhead include NICA coach exclusive benefits and courses, and our full library of NICA-specific coach resources. Those are still housed within our NICA Coach Education Center. Remember, you access all of that rad stuff by logging into your Pit Zone dashboard and clicking the white “Courses, Resources, & Benefits” button under your name.
So – that’s it: The Trailhead! It’s a simple idea, and we are excited to see where it leads. That said: we need YOU to share! What’s working well within your teams and leagues? What’s your favorite coaching story? What great new activity or system have you created to make your practice run smoothly? Our coach community and creativity is our biggest asset: so, let’s share the knowledge and enthusiasm!
