This spring, we partnered with Rudy Project for another Local Leaders Giveaway, celebrating NICA student-athletes who make a difference in their teams and communities.

One of our winners was Rebekah from North State Composite, who received a Rudy Project helmet and sunglasses. Now in her third year racing with NICA, Rebekah shared that one of the things that makes her NICA experience so special is knowing there is always someone cheering her on at the start and finish of a race.

For Rebekah, leadership is about setting an example, supporting others, and helping teammates reach goals they may not have thought possible. She loves seeing her teammates have fun on their bikes, helping them at practice, and celebrating their accomplishments. Her story is a great reminder that being a leader in NICA isn’t just about racing. It’s about showing up for others and helping create a community where everyone can thrive.
