Consider who you can invite to your next NICA race!

We all know that NICA events are exciting, full of energy, and just plain fun. But how do we share this stoke with people we know who may not be familiar with mountain biking?
This month, we want you to share the stoke of mountain biking by inviting someone you know to an upcoming race, and encouraging your athletes and families to do the same. You never know what a simple invite can mean to someone – it may even be the start of their own riding journey.
We have drafted two letters to make it easy for you and your athletes to extend an invitation to people in your community. Both can be customized for a number of audiences: teachers, school administrators, friends, families, or local community leaders.
Make sure to customize your “why” in your invitations – a meaningful anecdote or reason for the invite can be impactful!
Let us know who you’re inviting, and share your stories and photos with us!

NICA’s Coach Education team exists to support a network of thousands of volunteer coaches across the country in their work to develop youth through the sport of mountain biking. NICA’s coach education provides coaches with the skills, knowledge, and abilities to be confident and effective leaders and role models who build strong minds, bodies, character, and communities through cycling.
