The NICA Superstar Ballot is an “official” yet fun way you can acknowledge the awesomeness on your teams every day. You’ve probably seen our digital Superstar Ballots on social media this month (if you haven’t yet, check out our Instagram story highlights!) – the concept is simple: the Superstar Ballot is a short, standardized form that allows you to acknowledge your athletes, families, and fellow coaches for all the positive things they bring to the team.
The Superstar Ballot was born at the NICA conference, but has since been adapted across our leagues, and now it’s available to you as both a printable PDF set and as a Canva Template for you to customize for your team with your own logo, colors, and special categories. Your team could even make a fun ballot box decorated by student-athletes.
These links/files (and many, many others!) are located in NICA’s Coach Resources. Just log into Pit Zone, click the “Courses, Resources, & Benefits” link, and find the “Coach Resources” sidebar in the NICA Education Center. Search for “Superstar Ballot” to find the links!
Let us know how you use the ballot!
What other ways do you recognize and show gratitude for each other every season?
